    • Ambassador's Circle

These are people who have influenced NCTRC and have a passion for the work of the organization. They serve as a resource for the board of directors, connect the organization to supporters, and help tell our story.

      Dorothy "Dot" Kohlbach

      Coming soon

      Anne Wuthenow

Anne came to NCTRC in 2012 in search of a second career for her horse, Savannah. They had been a team for many years and she wanted Savannah to be in a program where she would be useful, even in retirement. Anne is a graduate of Salem College with a BA in History and works with an orthodontic practice in treatment coordination and marketing. She is excited to share NCTRC’s mission with everyone!

      Jim Gray

Jim is a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC and a US Navy veteran. He lived in Wilkes County most of his life, with a career in retail furniture sales and management. His “golf” over the past 30 years has been community service. He has served on and chaired numerous boards including the local American Red Cross board, the Hospice Board, and the Rainbow Center.

      Suzanne Case

Suzanne is certified as an Equine Specialist by both EAGALA and PATH, holds a BA in Psychology from Salem College, and is pursuing her MA in Psychological Counseling at Goddard College, as well as certification as a therapeutic riding instructor. She also holds BHSAI certification, and has been teaching riding and training horses for 32 years, most recently incorporating yoga into her teaching through Vinyasa Dressage. She and Matt have worked as part of an equine therapy team since 2004. Suzanne is very passionate about equine-assisted therapies of all kinds and the NCTRC and feels that this work is invaluable to the human spirit; mind, body, and soul.
