• Our therapy services include both occupational, physical, and speech therapy. Physical therapy services focus on the gross motor skills, such as walking and upper-body control, while occupational therapy focuses on fine motor control, daily living skills, and more. Our services are offered year round, following NCTRC’s spring, summer and fall session schedules and performed by licensed therapists. Clients must be 2 years of age or older, and are accompanied by a trained horse leader and sidewalker assisting the therapist during mounted activities.

Our therapy services include an initial evaluation for all of our participants. The cost of this evaluation is $55 and may be covered at least in part by your insurance or financial assistance. Therapy visit fees vary depending on the length of each visit and are comparable to other therapy practices in our area. NCTRC is a Medicaid provider and directly bills Medicaid for therapy visits. Private insurance companies may be billed as well. Families not covered by Medicaid will be responsible for any co-pays and deductible amounts not covered by insurance, as well as minimal program fees. Please contact us for specifics of the cost for your family's situation, or complete a new client application to get started.
